Aromas of cracked black pepper, black currants, blackberries, cigar box, thyme, rosemary and menthol jump out of the glass. Blackberries and Provence herbs are reinforced on the palate layered with curried meats, minerals and toasty coffee nuances. Though vibrant in its youth, this wine is surprising well integrated.
