Tasting Notes:
This wine’s black-brick color announces the concentration that follows. There
are diverse aromas of cedar, plums, tar, leather, Bordeaux-style herbs and spices,
olives, black fruits and tobacco. The tannins are firm yet silky and classy. All the
fruit, oak, acidity and alcohol are completely balanced and harmonious. The
flavors exhibit impressive black fruit and black cherry concentration. The wine
has a deep and expansive mouth feel. This is a “complete wine” that is delicious,
complex, concentrated and a very long, lingering finish.
