Tasting Notes:
The DeLille Cellars 2011 Chaleur Estate Blanc is already showing diverse aromas of white flowers, white pepper, guava, sous bois (i.e. forest floor) and lemon zest. There's a whisper of toasted almonds as an added bonus. A honeyed richness is expressed in the mouth unfolding to reveal sweet grass and herbs, sweet cream and once again, guava and citrus. It shows an almost red wine concentration that we like. The powerful richness, juicy acidity and fine balance of this wine really sets it apart in style and quality.
