Made from historic 50 year-old vines, this vintage is rich and deep. The characters of black currants, black cherries and complex Bordeaux cassis jump out of the glass on the nose along with a touch of cedar, juicy meat drippings, rosemary, Herbs de Provence and hints of fresh leather. It is a complete wine with flavors of savory red currants, cinnamon, black cherries and perfect integration of oak. Although a big expression of Harrison Hill, the vintage retains balance, elegance and grace with the sweet ripe tannins forecasting a promising future.
